Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Yield:
48 servings


1/2 c Butter or Margarine; softened
1/2 c Shortening
1 c Light Brown sugar, packed
1/2 c Sugar
2 Eggs
2 T Water
2 T Light Corn syrup
2 t Vanilla
2 t Cinnamon
1/4 t Nutmeg
1/8 t Ginger
1 1/2 c Flour; unsifted
1 t Baking soda
1 t Salt
3 c Oats, old fashioned
1 c Raisins

Cream butter, shortening, sugars, eggs, corn syrup, water, and
vanilla; beat well. Combine flour baking soda and salt; add to
creamed mixture. Beat well; stir in oats and raisins.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
Using a melon baller also works well

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.

Cool slightly on sheet before removing.

Oh, those cookies sound good! I just discovered that Oatmeal Raisin are my middle son's favorite cookies!
